Jeremy Cariss was raised in Perth and has always had a passion for outstanding food and service. He fulfilled his childhood dream of owning his own restaurant and has been working in the restaurant industry for over twenty years.
Jeremy is the driving force behind Bistro Felix; taking over the Atlantic Restaurant site in June 2006, working towards the refurbishment of the building and opening of Bistro Felix in June 2007.
As General Manager and Owner of Bistro Felix, Jeremy oversees all aspects of the day to day operations of the restaurant including staffing, service and training. He most recently worked in the same capacity at Eros Ouzeri, an acclaimed restaurant in Rundle Street, Adelaide.
Jeremy gained valuable front of the house experience while working in various Hyatt Hotels over ten years.
Jeremy’s impressive work history includes stints at Gershwins, Lungomare, Citrus, Gauchos and Eros Ouzeri.
Bistro Felix is the catalyst which allows Jeremy to offer the best in quality seasonal produce as well as an extensive range of world class wines.
He is also a self confessed Grand Cru Burgundy tragic.
