Jeremy Cariss was raised in Perth. Jeremy has always had a passion for outstanding food and service. He fulfilled his childhood dream of owning his own restaurant and has been working in the restaurant industry for over twenty years.
Jeremy Cariss is the driving force behind Bistro Felix. Taking over the Atlantic Restaurant site in June 2006 and working towards the refurbishment of the building and opening of Bistro Felix in June 2007.
As General Manager & Owner of Bistro Felix, Jeremy Cariss, oversees all aspects of the restaurant’s day to day operations such as staffing, service and training. He most recently worked in the same capacity at Eros Ouzeri, an acclaimed restaurant in Rundle Street, Adelaide.
Cariss gained valuable front of the house experience while working in various Hyatt Hotels over ten years.
Cariss’s impressive work history includes stints at Gershwins, Lungomare, Citrus, Gauchos & Eros Ouzeri which during his tenure won Best Restaurant in South Australia three times and the National Best Restaurant Award with Restaurant and Catering Australia.
He is also a self confessed Grand Cru Burgundy tragic.
